OUTINGS
Last year our visits included a trip to the fire station, woods, Magic
Island and Amazon World.
More recently, the children have been learning about "The senses". This included activities in and out of the setting such as walks to the shops where children helped to buy and pay for the shopping along with visits to cafes to taste different foods.
NURSERY EXTENSION
We now have a new purpose-built unit at the back of New Hope Christian Fellowship. This provides much-improved facilities for the children. Amongst other things, we are planning new gym equipment and a sensory room.
We aim to establish Hope Childcare at the Island Day Nursery as a Centre of Excellence for children and parents.
